We are excited to introduce the Forge Mentorship Academy yearly curriculum: “UnCommon Sense: The Civil Society Tutorial.”

The 2021-2022 Academy was the inaugural Forge Mentorship Academy Class to receive this training. It’s meant to equip our students to understand and apply their identity and responsibility as “dual citizens” (citizens of God’s Kingdom and our American republic) and helps them reflect on, assess, and grow into the character and collaboration that it takes to build true community. It has been a labor of love by some brilliant members of the Forge Network — this series was created and authored by Forge Board Member Chip Weiant and edited and re-published by Forge Board Member Michael Hamilton. Further, one of Chip’s original co-creators and co-practitioners of this curriculum, Dr. Monty Lobb, instructs and coaches our Mentorship Academy students through this curriculum each year.
