Forge Hires New COO (Alumnus and Veteran Jeremiah Martin)

Forge is thrilled to announce the hire of Jeremiah Martin as our Chief Operating Officer.

Jeremiah has been part of Forge Leadership Network from the very beginning, participating in the inaugural Forge Leadership Summit as a student and being very involved over the years as an alumnus, advocate, supporter, and speaker. His love and personal experience of the mission and vision of Forge combine with his unique and varied skill sets to make him the perfect person to help take Forge’s organization to the next level.

(You’ll remember Jeremiah’s testimonial from the Dayton Forge Banquet at the end of October and the banquet recap newsletter last month)

In his own words, Jeremiah states,

“As a Forge Alumni, I take great pride in this organization. I am excited to work with Adam and Jennie and the Forge team to grow its mission and influence toward developing future leaders. As a veteran, I look forward to continuing my service in this role: leading, teaching, and organizing young Americans toward service in the public square.”

Prior to joining Forge, he worked as Executive Director of First Freedom Ohio, the grassroots action partner of Citizens for Community Values. As Executive Director, Jeremiah was tasked with overseeing the administration, programs, and strategic plan of the organization. This included developing and executing a grassroots plan to educate voters and advocate for pro-freedom policies.

Jeremiah is an U.S. Army Veteran with a combined 10 years of military service, including two tours overseas. On his most recent tour, he deployed to Iraq in 2017 as a part of a joint taskforce consisting of Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marines. Jeremiah currently serves in the Army Reserve as a Chaplain Assistant.

Before that, he worked as the State Director for the Ohio Chapter of Concerned Veterans for America (CVA). During his time at CVA he worked to ensure veterans have access to world class healthcare. Jeremiah led one of the most successful teams in the country and advocated for veterans on the state and federal level.

He graduated from Lee University with a Bachelor of Science in Pastoral Ministries, and is currently working on a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership from Liberty University.

Jeremiah currently lives in North Central Ohio with his wife and four young children.

Please welcome Jeremiah and the Martin Family to the Forge Team in this exciting new role that the generosity, prayers, and support of many has made possible!

Sincerely,

Adam Josefczyk
